Service Booking
When you book a service with HOME SOLUTIONS, we reserve time and resources specifically for your appointment. Our scheduling system helps us manage our technicians' time efficiently to serve all our customers effectively.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Appointments
For standard service appointments, the following cancellation policy applies:
- More than 24 hours' notice: No cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled service time.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: A cancellation fee of 25% of the estimated service cost may be charged if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice.
- No-show: If you fail to be present at the scheduled appointment time without prior notice, a no-show fee of 50% of the estimated service cost may be charged.
Emergency Services
For emergency service appointments, due to their urgent nature and immediate resource allocation:
- Cancellation of emergency services after a technician has been dispatched may result in a service call fee to cover travel time and resource allocation.
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to reschedule your appointment. Our rescheduling policy is as follows:
- More than 24 hours' notice: You may reschedule your appointment without any additional charge if done with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a rescheduling fee of 10% of the estimated service cost, depending on resource availability.
- Multiple reschedules: After two reschedules for the same service, we reserve the right to request a booking deposit for future appointments.
Refund Policy
Service Deposits
For services that require a deposit:
- Cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice: Full refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation with 24-48 hours' notice: 75% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice: 50% refund of the deposit.
- No-show: No refund of the deposit.
Completed Services
For services that have been completed:
- Service Quality Issues: If you are not satisfied with the quality of our service, please notify us within 7 days of service completion. We will assess the situation and may offer to rectify the issue, provide a partial refund, or offer a service credit for future use.
- Material Issues: If there are issues with materials used in the service, we will address them according to manufacturer warranties and our service guarantee policy.
Service Guarantee
HOME SOLUTIONS stands behind the quality of our work. Our service guarantee includes:
- Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of service completion. If issues arise due to our workmanship within this period, we will rectify them at no additional cost.
- Material Guarantee: Materials used in our services are subject to manufacturer warranties. We will assist you in processing any warranty claims for defective materials.
The service guarantee does not cover:
- Damage caused by customer misuse or neglect
- Issues arising from pre-existing conditions not related to our service
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by third parties after our service completion
Payment and Refund Processing
All refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for the service booking. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account, depending on your financial institution's policies.
Special Circumstances
We understand that special circumstances may arise that are beyond your control. In cases of medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other exceptional situations, please contact us as soon as possible. We will evaluate such cases individually and may waive cancellation fees at our discretion.
